Dr. Markus Nauroth is an assistant professor for computer science at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the Department for CMIS. He holds a Ph.D. from the Technical University of
Munich, a Master of Science degree from the University of Mainz, Germany and two bachelor of science degrees, from the universities of Mainz and Manheim. His research areas include Cyber Security, Generative AI, and Reinforcement Learning and his teaching focuses on Information Security, Ethical Hacking, Programing, Mobile Development, and Enterprise Systems. A recent research paper is titled “The brave new world of artificial intelligence.”
