Maurice Dawson

Dr. Maurice Dawson is an assistant professor of information systems at UMSL and Fulbright Scholar at Prince Sultan University. He teaches about cybersecurity and secure software programming in a degree program accredited by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security for cyber defense education. Before joining academia, he was an engineering manager for unmanned air systems and rotary wing aircraft in the defense industry.

Dawson is the co-editor of Developing Next-Generation Countermeasures for Homeland Security Threat Prevention, and New Threats and Countermeasures in Digital Crime and Cyber Terrorism. He has a Ph.D. from the Intelligent Systems Research Centre at London Metropolitan University and a Doctor of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University.
