Tim Schoenecker, PhD, is dean of the School of Business at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Working with faculty and staff, contributed to the School’s growth and celebrated its accounting and business programs’ 2017 reaccreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a hallmark of excellence earned by less than five percent of the world’s business schools.
Under Schoenecker’s leadership, the School has progressed its strategic plan by boosting enrollment, continuing its tradition of internships and global engagement, building faculty resources and maintaining its momentum in development and alumni relations
Schoenecker joined the SIUE faculty in fall 1992 in the Department of Management and Marketing. His teaching interests are in the areas of strategic management and entrepreneurship. His research interests are primarily in the areas of corporate governance and top management teams. In addition to his academic work, he served as a consultant for both large and small businesses in the St. Louis area.

Dr. Jacks is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Management & Information Systems at SIUE. Jacks has more than 18 years of industry experience in IT management and teaches courses in information security, business telecommunications, IT audit and controls and IT systems architecture.
His research interests include cultural studies, healthcare IT, and strategic business alignment of IT. He has published in The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Communications of the AIS, Business Process Management Journal, and Decision Support Systems. He is a member of the core research team for the World IT Project.
Jacks received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
